Double Celebration for West Yorkshire Franchisee

Prestige Nursing recently held their annual conference in Northamptonshire. At this prestigious event in the Prestige Nursing calendar staff from the Head Office team joined, Branch Managers and Franchisees to celebrate the business success of 2009 and to focus on plans for 2010.

At the event Prestige Nursing were pleased to announce the Franchisee of the Year award 2009, which was won by Paul Barker, franchisee of Prestige Nursing West Yorkshire.

Paul has been a franchisee with Prestige for 10 years, providing his first care staff member on Boxing Day 1999 – so a double celebration of 10 years in the business and the franchise award for him and his team.

The award was presented by Pam Feltham, Franchise Manager for Prestige Nursing. Pam explains why Paul achieved the award this year, ‘’ we had many worthy candidates for this award this year, but it has been Paul and his teams all round contribution to Prestige that made him stand out. He has been able to continue to grow the business in 2009 after 10 years of trading and his team are embracing change through new technology, he consistently provides head office with information when we need it and he has been a great supporter in talking to and working with prospective and new franchisees as they have investigated the franchise. An all round great supporter of Prestige Nursing and well deserving of the Franchisee of the Year 2009 title.’’

Paul Barker, comments ‘’ I am so pleased with the award and can’t wait to go back and share this with the team at the office, as it really is a team effort from the office staff through to the care workers and nurses who deliver a fantastic service for us. I can’t believe that 10 years have gone by, its been a great experience, this is not an easy business to run, but it is a very worthwhile one and I can’t wait to start putting my plans in place for next year.’’
